About Us

 

To tell you the story about our kennel and what we do now, I have to start from the very beginning which was long time ago...

It is difficult to clearly state the beginning of our love for animals.

Both of us were raised at homes where dogs had a very important place in our families.

At my home, there had always been lovely, little mongrels with sophisticated names like - Poofy ;)

 

At Kuba’s family home lived an aristocratic lady named Figa. It was a female German Pointer, which gave birth to several litters of wonderful hunting dogs.

Later at my grandparents’ home appeared a phenomenal Pucek the First, after which, the next dog inherited the name. Pucek II was the world's only representative of Desert Shepherd. He lived with us until the very end of 2005 ... He was the last link between three generations of our family and surely we can say that he brought up Liana for us in the best way we would wish for. It is still so difficult to speak and write about “Puciu”. He was the perfect family dog and will always remain in our hearts...

Dogs are not just our passion. We are both veterinarians. One day, sometime in the middle of our studies, during the internal medicine training, our interest in Rhodesian Ridgeback breed began. However, we became the owners of phenomenal Liana only just after the graduation.
